About Vrinda

Ancient wellness in the modern world

Vrinda’s struggle with the corporate grind

Once a high-performing legal practitioner, Vrinda has over 5 years of experience as a corporate lawyer in Mumbai. She has experienced firsthand what burnout and the constant pressure to perform really feels like. Chronic anxiety, PCOS, acidity, migraines and a sedentary lifestyle that creeps in even on weekends.

For years, she thought this was just “part of the job.” That pushing through meant she was strong only to realise that strength isn’t in suffering silently. It’s in choosing to pause, to listen to your body, to take your well-being seriously.

In 2020, she set on this path to reclaim her life, with a goal to achieve not just flexibility or fitness—but the freedom from the grind we’ve been told is normal.

Lawyer turns into a certified yoga coach

Soon after quitting her full-time job, Vrinda began what started as a personal healing journey at The Yoga Institute, Mumbai which soon revealed itself as her true calling. Teaching yoga felt natural, purposeful, and deeply fulfilling.

She started by leading classes in boutique studios across Mumbai, sharing mindful movement and breathwork with city dwellers who, like her, had been caught in the fast-paced grind. Her work soon expanded into corporate wellness programs, where she helped office goers reconnect with their bodies and manage stress from the inside out.

She was also invited to guide sessions on various digital platforms like Tata Sky,  Hindustan Times and Brilliant Wellness, reaching a broader audience and continuing to create impact through mindful, accessible practices.

Wellness beyond yoga

Today, she’s not just a yoga teacher. Her journey has evolved into something much larger.

She is a retreat facilitator, curating immersive wellness experiences that go beyond the mat, all around the world. Whether it's amidst the mountains in Uttarakhand or the serene beaches of California, her retreats are designed to help people reconnect with themselves, with nature, and with a slower, more intentional way of living.

She’s also a certified Animal Flow coach, blending primal movement with breath and mindfulness, creating community-driven sessions that are as playful as they are powerful.

As a trained nutritionist, she brings food into the wellness conversation with ease—guiding people toward nourishing, sustainable choices without guilt or extremes.
Alongside all of this, she’s a content creator and the face of several leading wellness brands—using her platform to share real, relatable insights on mindful living, movement, and self-care.
When not teaching, Vrinda can be found enjoying quality time with her husband and dog at her home in Goa, travelling to off-beat places around the world and learning new skills.
